Clawdeen Woolf

By Allison Elizabeth

When I saw you behind the glossy shine of the box I thought you were so hot and so cool. I think that I am a loser so the fact that I could see the reflection of my face by yours made me feel like you wanted to be with me. I thought I was fierce or confident or gorgeous or intimidating or absolutely loyal to my friends with a no-nonsense attitude - anything just like you. Which is a pretty high pedestal to put someone on instead of I see you and you see me I’ll put my credit card down and bring you home from the store. It makes me wish we never knew each other. I don’t want to be confronted with what I am because I will be reminded I am not. I can’t stop picking at my skin and the tape on your box as a punishment to my mind for thinking so much about this. I want to be cool and I want to be your friend, but I am messing it up. It is my fault my fault my fault my fault my fault. Now your box is damaged. I cannot bring you back to the store. I have to just sit with you in my room.
