I need your help to pick out the perfect costume! The problem is I spent all of my money on the Sanrio Halloween build-a-bear collection so I have to pick from the clothes I already have! And I have been using a lot of brain energy writing for this blog so I am going off of old pictures of me at my cutest, before I watched Hereditary and gained a fear of being controlled like a doll in a dollhouse!

Well literally speaking you did get to help me pick something. As in give your opinion. I never said that it was the option I would go with. Think of this like one of those standardized tests you take in school. You have to read through the questions very carefully. Besides, why did you even think this would work? Silly, silly you! Of course we are going to go with the flower crown! It’s Mariposa Madness and we all know butterflies love flowers. I think it’s best that I was the one to choose everything. I clearly know the most about this costume.
Now the outfit is complete!

Ugh. I forgot.
Since this is a recreation of MY childhood costume we have to stay true to the original idea. I know you can’t see it. These are words. I can paint a picture with them though. In my original costume I wore a store bought Barbie Mariposa dress with pink butterfly wings and a pink flower crown, but underneath all of that Barbie Magic was…a long sleeve shirt and sweatpants. My mother cared more about staying warm than being a total bad witch. I guess we have to put it on.
But…
I don’t want to!
If I add those extra layers lil guy is going to think I am not being true to myself now! Which I totally am not! I chose my outfit. I didn’t listen to what you had to say even though I opened myself up to it. Why do I have to listen to the mysterious voice in italics?!
